and are a non-denominational Christian charity working within three key areas:
At Ark we see ourselves as facilitators, providing opportunity where it otherwise wouldn’t exist. We seek to provide and promote that opportunity by identifying need, to ensure that all whom we come in contact with have the chance to raise their aspirations and release their potential, especially but not exclusively through non-formal activities, holiday clubs and sport. We work with children and teenagers of all backgrounds, ethnicity and religion, in groups or as individuals.
We aim to encourage and empower, to develop social, emotional, spiritual & physical wellbeing and to do this according to Christian values, thereby inspiring the growth of mature role models in our community. We aim in all we do to convey our conviction that God’s blessing extends to each and every child and to communicate this by building long-standing mentor relationship with the young people we work with.
Ark in Oundle is committed to the development, support and sustainment of youth work in Oundle and the surrounding district.
